Following are the new features and enhancements

Server-side

Release 9.0.3

  • IBM WebSphere® Application Server Liberty Core 24.0.0.6 support

    The PMF now supports IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Core 24.0.0.6.

  • Security features

    You can now enable (or disable) security features such as Whitelisting and Rate Limiting. For more information, see Post-installation instructions and config.properties file parameters.

Release 9.0.5

  • Google 16 KB memory page size support

    Android SDK now supports Google 16 KB memory page size architecture to ensure compatibility with the latest Android devices that ship with 16 KB memory page size support. To implement this enhancement, PMF upgraded Android Native code that also impacts PMF Base and PMF JSONStore SDK. For more information, see JSONStore - Key features.

Release 9.0.6

  • Amazon Corretto

    The PMF now supports Amazon Corretto version 8 of the Open Java Development Kit (OpenJDK).

  • Apache Tomcat®

    The PMF now supports Apache Tomcat version 9.

  • IBM WebSphere® Application Server Liberty Core

    The PMF now supports IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty Core 25.0.0.6.

  • Node.js

    PMF CLI now extends support for Node.js versions 18 to 21.

  • Open Liberty™

    The PMF now supports Open Liberty 25.0.0.6 with MySQL Version 8.0.43.

  • New adapter-maven-api library version

    A new adapter-maven-api library version is available to be used in Adapter. You need to update the adapter pom.xml file with a dependency version to 9.0.6 to consume the new version. You need to locally install dependency. For more information, see Upgrading adapter-maven-api library.

Software Development Kits (SDKs)

Release 9.0.3

  • Xamarin support

    The PMF now supports download of the Xamarin SDK from the PMF Operations console. For more information, see Xamarin.

Release 9.0.4

  • Android Native SDK API 35 and 36

    The PMF now supports Android Native SDK API 35 and 36 with the Android 15 and 16 operating systems, respectively.

  • Android Native SDK - HTTP PATCH method

    The PMF now supports Android Native SDK with the HTTP PATCH method. For more information, see WLResourceRequest.

  • Apache® Cordova Android

    The PMF now supports the Apache Cordova Android platform 14.0.

  • iOS Native SDK

    The PMF now supports iOS Native SDK with Xcode 16.4 with iOS 18.5 as the operating system.

Release 9.0.6

  • Flutter SDK

    The PMF now supports Flutter SDK with Flutter Version 3.19.0.

  • iOS Native SDK

    The PMF now supports the iOS Native SDK with Xcode 26.1.1 on an iOS 26.1 operating system.

  • .NET MAUI SDK

    The PMF now supports .NET MAUI SDK with .NET Version 9.0.306.

  • React Native

    The PMF now supports React Native 0.79.2 as follows.

    • Android platform: Target SDK version API 36 and 35
    • iOS platform: Xcode 26.1.1 with iOS 26.1

Downloading SDKs

Release 9.0.4 Release 9.0.5 Release 9.0.6 - To download the SDKs for this release, log in to the PMF Support Portal site.

Security fixes

  • Release 9.0.3 - 8 High and 10 Medium vulnerabilities fixed.
  • Release 9.0.6 - 87 Critical and 209 High vulnerabilities fixed.

Release 9.0.3 Release 9.0.6 - Following are the possible migration and upgradation scenarios.
